شفای جمعی با شعر و شمع
Sacred Gathering (for Woman. Life. Freedom)
Wednesday, October 12 @ 6:00-7:30 PM PDT
This is an online vigil, a sacred space for Iranians in diaspora. We are holding space for our fellow Iranians who are grieving far from our place of birth or ancestry, our homeland and are in need of hope , processing and space for longings to be expressed. Healing is collective and needed. Bring your cozy blanket, your favorite fenjoon for Chayi and candles to light. We are here to receive you in Farsi English, Finglish, whatever comes to you. You will have a chance to meet your fellow Iranians in the diaspora community. You will be led through meditation, hear and move to Irooni music to heal your soul, so you can shift and perhaps shake out any held pain in your body. There will be a chance to share your art if you wish. You can bring healing poems from Rumi, the song your grandmother sang to you or even a persian gesture you love.
We will sit together, reflect, ground, share and attend to our emotions through movement and art. You are not alone. We are here for you, and with you.
